Pregnancy care is the health care that is given to a mother during pregnancy. Maternal and child care from the time of conception until the birth of the child is called Antinatal Care. The goal of this gestational care is to ensure the health of the mother and baby and to prevent or treat any complications of pregnancy. In a word, giving a healthy baby to the society without any deterioration in the mother’s health.
Ensuring regular health care, safe delivery and postpartum health care during a pregnant mother’s pregnancy is an equal responsibility of all members of the family, including the pregnant husband.
Immediately after conception, a pregnant woman should go to a health center for antenatal care or seek medical attention. After the first visit, a pregnant woman usually needs to see a doctor once a month for 28 weeks, once every 15 days for 36 weeks and once a week until the baby is born.
2 TT vaccines are given in 5 to 6 months.
Drink plenty of nutritious food and plenty of water.
No heavy work can be done during pregnancy.
You need to be happy and get 1 to 2 hours of rest during the day and at least 8 hours of sleep at night.
Delivery to any health center or clinic is safe. If this is not possible, delivery must be made by a trained midwife.
However, if any kind of complication occurs during pregnancy, it should be taken to the health center very soon.
